Don't Disappoint
Scene pans to the AT&T Center, where WWX Xcess is taking place. It's not a sold out show, but fans in the arena are as boisterous as ever, holding up signs for their favorite wrestler. The cameras take us over to ringside commentary.

Cashmere: Welcome back, Ladies and Gentlemen, to Monday night WWX Xcess! Once again, I'm Lucius Cashmere, with my broadcast partner, Kagome Rose! Tonight we have plenty of action on hand! The AT&T Center is already poppin with great anticipation as Holiday Hell in the World Wrestling Xistence inches ever closer!

Rose: Right here in a few moments we will be hearing from one half of the former WWX Tag Team Champions and former teammates that comprised that other half in Rex McAllister, who looks to get even this coming Saturday Night on Ravage!

"A Welcome Burden" by Disturbed blares through the speakers of the Arena Public Announce System. After a ten second interlude of highlights of Rex McAllister, Rex makes his way out slowly. Rex pauses on the stage momentarily.

Rex receives a mixed reaction as he slowly makes his way toward the ring with a microphone already on hand. Rex wears his usual attire of black tights, black boots, and black vest that reads "Rex" in red lettering on the right and "Master" on the left. The back reads "Rexcellence". Rex exudes confidence as he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring steps.

Cashmere: Well, Kagome, we've seen a change in this man of late, a real change in demeanor since he split from Tommy Lipton. He really looks like a man hellbent on getting exactly what he wants out this best of five series against his former partner, Lipton, and more!

Rose: He's the most self-assured competitor losing in a best of five series that I think I've ever seen. I mean, a couple of weeks ago he walked out on the match against his former partner, and it was almost as if he was simply looking to play mind games right throughout, leaving Tommy Lipton ultimately confused and unsure of what to do next!

Rex ascends up the steps, and climbs the turnbuckle where he stands on the second rope. Rex stares out at the crowd before jumping off the turnbuckle and into the ring.

"A Welcome Burden" dies out as Rex stands in the middle of the ring, looking out at the crowd while exuding extreme confidence. Rex then raises the mic to his mouth to speak.

Rex McAllister: You disappoint me, Tommy. You just keep getting my hopes up.

Rex McAllister: I hate that, when someone get's you so excited only to dash all of your hopes just like that. Man, I have to admit that when you put me down on the canvas with your legendary Lipton Slam, for the first time I thought I had done it, that I had finally succeeded. I thought had re-awoken the Tommy Lipton of old, the one that we all used to know, the Ultimate Opportunist, The Master Manipulator...Mr. WWX!

Rex pauses, gives a sarcastic sigh.

Rex McAllister: Alas, I was mistaken. Just by hearing speak, I know that you are still not ready for what awaits you down the line, just as you were not ready for Ravage two weeks ago.

Rex McAllister: If you have take my generosity as an insult, Tommy. If you are taking mere facts, and trying to twist them around to use as motivation by calling them insults. I wonder then what you will think when I'm not being so generous and complimentary anymore? You should actually be thankful, Tommy. What we created with the Lipton-McAllister Tandem? It gave you more purpose than you've had in years. The truth of the matter though is that I could've created that with any other Legend known to this Federation, and yet I chose you. When you could've rode off sound, almost silently into the night after Countdown last year when your match with Corporal Sanders was said and done, you decided to instead re-focus your attention towards getting back to top. But Tommy? How is it that you plan to do that when you're deciding to disappoint all of the WWX with one lackluster performance followed by another, which has been far below normal standards?

Rex stares toward the main camera, gesturing with his right index finger.

Rex McAllister: There's that word again, "disappoint". The way I see it, Tommy, if anyone should feel insulted in all of this, it's certainly not you. It's me that should feel insulted. I gave you a reason to show up every |BLEEP|ing week so that you could continuously defend your pride...your legacy. Without me, Tommy, you wouldn't have stuck around any longer than one failed World Title shot. I have given you plenty more than any other make-shift, facsimile who has ever decided to share the spotlight with you, and certainly more than you can give me at this point in both of our careers.

The crowd reacts negatively to Rex's comments while he simply waits patiently for the crowd noise to quiet down a little before continuing.

Rex McAllister: I've already been at the top, beaten big names, legends, Tommy, and it's only a matter of time before I'm there again, doing just that in the process. The point, Tommy, that I'm making is that I'm done giving to you. When I look back twenty years or so from now, I won't be looking back just to disappoint...

Rex smirks, then gives off the smallest of chuckles while shaking his head back and forth, once again gesturing with his index finger motioning repeatedly in the direction of the camera as if he were talking to his former partner face to face. Rex paces a bit in the ring, speaking.

Rex McAllister: There's that word again. I won't be looking back some ten, twenty years from now dwelling, thinking about what I didn't do, because everything that I intend to, I will do.

Rex looks into the camera again as he pauses for second or two while staring deadpanned.

Rex McAllister: Your making crucial mistakes here, Tommy. Desperation is not the answer, just simply another mistake added to the many you've already been making. It's one thing to make mistakes; it's another thing to keep making the same ones over and over, but some, Tommy, have greater consequences than others.

Rex pauses again as the negative crowd noise can be heard loud and clear now having listened to words of The Rex Master.

Rex McAllister: So don't continue to "disappoint" me, Tommy. Don't continue to insult ME!!! Don't continue to keep making the same mistakes against me...or I'll make sure they're the very last that you'll ever make in this business, I guarantee it. Now that...was...Rexcellent!

"A Welcome Burden" comes alive again as Rex drops the mic and stares confidently into the camera.

Cashmere: Wow, Kagome, Rex's ultimatum seems final! Tommy Lipton needs this series in the worst way, and it looks like he has no choice now in the matter. It's kill or be killed, literally!

Rose: I don't like this side of Rex at all. He's become very cold and remorseless over these last several weeks, and it looks like he's willing to get back to the top by any means necessary, even if it's at the expense of his former friend! I do hope Tommy is prepared to fight for everything, because as he did say recently, he's backed into a corner and being forced to fight to survive. The question is, will he?

Rex is shown standing on the second rope at the left corner turnbuckle looking out at the crowd with a cold expression as a "A Welcome Burden" continues to play.

Cashmere: Ladies and Gentlemen, we'll be right back!
