If Only It Were That Easy
The scene pans the locker room of Rex McAllister, who is sitting relaxed in street clothes, reading from his old book of quotes, something that he seldomly does nowadays. However, for the occasion he saw it necessary, and soon with the camera focused on him, he closes the book, looks toward the camera giving off a smirk before beginning to speak.

Rex McAllister: I am so often thought of as being remarkably bright, and really where is the argument with such an assertion? Next month will mark my two year mark in this company, and in those two short, but gloriuous years, I've done nothing but succeed.

Rex McAllister: It's like everything I touch literally turns to gold, and the gold itself becomes a reflection of my greatness in spades! But, the kicker to all it? I did it all when this |BLEEP|ing place was actually competitive! Back in the summer of 2015, I was among the best competitors in the bottom of the card, midcard, to main event, and within a mere matter of months, seven to be exact. In under a year, I BECAME THE STANDARD!

Rex nods with a smile on his face very assured of himself, as he reflects.

Rex McAllister: For nearly seven months, I was the undisputed face of this company, but don't misunderstand where I'm going with this, because quite frankly this is all just an appetizer before the main course. No. See, because like I've said, I've often been thought of as being remarkably bright, but in being so it was always in the cards that I was inevitably going to be a success from the very moment I first stepped into a WWX ring.

Rex McAllister: However, even in being so, more often than not my brain is always busily devising new and interesting ways of bringing my enemies to sudden, gagging, writhing, agonizing death.

Rex McAllister: You see, attention seekers like yourselves, all you get is a brief moment of glory, especially when guys like you foolishly challenge me at my stead. The thing that makes me always a threat in any ssituation is in being many steps ahead, even when you don't need to be

Rex McAllister: The Lipton - McAllister tandem is going to take great pleasure in taking you down. For a time you get to say that you had a moment of shine in the limelight, because let's be honest here, groups? They tend not to last long in the WWX.

Rex McAllister: For a time they flourish, and then suddenly, they don't. So while your charisma may be off the charts, and hey everyone loves something new hip. So why not, right? Get yourselves a little air time. But really, is getting every eye locked on what you're doing for all the wrong reasons what makes you excellent? You've done nothing of note even in representing your brethren of the Blade Club, and that won't be changing when this is all said and done.

Rex McAllister: Vengeance is sweet, you know? Vengeance taken when the vengee isn't sure who the venger actually is, makes it that much sweeter!

Rex chuckles a bit as he shakes his head in a bit of disbelief.

Rex McAllister: See the thing is, you three will soon be no more. When you decided to get involved in our business, you wrote your own curtain call, dug your own graves so-to-speak. We don't just want to beat you, because that simply will not be acceptable enough to satisfy our longing to see to it that the Blade Club is no more. Myself and Tommy Lipton, we didn't garner reputations as two of the game's most cerebral competitors that have many different ways in decimating our opposition by simply letting unjust things like this go unmolested. Should you win this week by some stroke of the luck, that doesn't change a thing, because we will see to it that you can't look over your shoulder and not worry that you're about to get that red carpet yanked out from under you about to receive a swift reality check. Nothing feared, nothing sacred this time.

Rex dusts off his collared shirt ever so slightly as he continues.

Rex McAllister: Look on the bright side of things though, you get to be a part of history. The next big group that found success, got people's attention, and did it with some flare. That's the thing about history, in that as good as you have it, things are just bound to come to a close, as surely history would inevitably repeat itself. When the Lipton - McAllister tandem is done with you, that's all you'll be. That's a promise. Now that was...Rexcellent!

Scene begins to fade as Rex gives off a devilish grin.
