RAVAGE - Show 2017-06-03 02:08:05
OUTSIDE THE ARENA

Camera cuts backstage, near the entrance of the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. The door opens and Willie Steen walks through the door, with his duffel bag on one shoulder and the Television Championship on his other shoulder. Camera follows Steen as he makes his way toward the locker room. Suddenly, he stops and drops his bags. He puts his hands up and tries to brace himself as Happy Gigglesworth comes charging at him. Happy tackles Steen to the ground and begins throwing shots into his face. The two tussle around and Happy picks Steen up and tosses him into the wall. Happy waves his hand to summon a referee and covers Steen.

1, 2, Kickout.

As Happy tries to grab Steen up, he is assaulted from behind by Bishop Polaris. Polaris grabs Happy and tosses him into a nearby table. He then turns to Steen and grabs him up on his shoulders. Steen manages to wriggle free and drops to the ground. As Polaris turn around, Steen hits him with a desperation superkick. Steen, then notices Happy getting back to his feet. He picks up Polaris and throws him right into Happy, sending both men careening into the wall with an audible thud. Steen then grabs both men and throws then into an open closet. He slams the door shut and barricades it with a nearby crate. He grabs his title off the ground and hastily races for the exit.

INSIDE THE ARENA

“Across Nation” blasts through the arena as fans cheer for their favorite wrestler. Standing in the middle ring is Lily Frenell.

Frenell: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Birmingham’s own Terry “TJ” Jackson!

“Sweet Home Alabama/Country Grammar” blasts through the PA system as Terry pops through the curtain.

Hart: Ladies and gentlemen, we’re off to an explosive start here in Birmingham. I’m Mike Hart, my colleague Terry Jackson is making his way to the announce table after making a hometown welcome reception.

TJ sits next to Mike.

Hart: What a reception there Terry.

TJ: And what an explosive start to Ravage tonight with the Television Championship being defended throughout the night.

“Hard Hittin’” blasts through the PA system as Maxfield Stanton walks out onto the entrance ramp admist a sea of a deafening ovation.

Frenell: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the general manager of Ravage, Maxfield Stanton!

TJ: Apparently our GM has an announcement to make.

Max steps into the ring as Frenell hands him her mic.

Stanton: Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for our next pay-per-view event?!

Fans roar in approval.

Stanton: Of course, we will our Crusade Cup Finals and WWX Undisputed Champion Syndicate defend his title against Kurtis Ray later on at the event. Let it be known that at the Outrage pay-per-view event, every single championship will be defended that. Where is Outrage going to be held you ask? That is going to be held at the New Orleans Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Enjoy the rest of the show y’all!

BACKSTAGE

Steen: To hell with this. I’m outta here.

As Steen exits the arena, a white Kia Optima pulls up near the curb. Steen races up to the backseat door and pulls on the handle, but the door doesn't open. Steen tries pulling harder but to no avail. Steen bangs on top of the car and shouts at the driver to unlock the door. As Steen continues tugging at the door’s handle, the window rolls down. Steen peers inside the window of the car and is immediately sprayed in the face with a liquid of some kind. Steen stumbles backward, coughing and sputtering as the door of the car opens. Cameras closes on the car as Cameron Westport steps out of the backseat with a bottle of champagne in his hand. He takes a sip.

Westport: The cheap stuff, eh?

As Steen tries to rub the champagne out of his eyes Westport steps up to him and smashes the bottle over his head. Steen crumples to the ground in a heap. A satisfied grin curls over the lips of the lips of Westport as he rushes back to the car. He reaches into the backseat and pulls out a referee. Westport motions the ref over to where Steen lays motionless on the ground as he covers him for a pinfall. The ref counts.

1,2,3

Westport grabs the title as the ref raises his hand. He then grabs Steen up off the ground and drags him over to the car. He walks to the back of the car and pops the trunk. He then grabs Steen up from the ground and aggressively dumps him into the trunk, slamming the lid over him.

Westport: Have a nice night.

Westport walks around the side of the car to the driver side window and peers in to the driver.

Westport: Go ahead and take him home for the night. He’s pretty banged up.

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a twenty-dollar bill and hands it to the driver. They shake hands and the driver pulls away. Westport walks back to the referee and grabs the championship belt from him as the white Kia takes off down the street.

RINGSIDE

“Angel of Salvation” starts off as Glorious Gaijin starts making his way down to the ring.

Frenell: The following contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, weighting in at 185 pounds, Glorious Gaijin!!

TJ: Gaijin and Super Bacon starting us off here on Ravage here in Birmingham.

Hart: There’s a lot of new blood coming into the company, so we should have some pretty good solid competition pretty soon.
TJ: Well, Ravage is still trying to rebuild itself to be the flagship show that its meant to be and for our GM, that appears to be no easy feat.

Hart: Oh, I agree with you right there Terry.

“A New Power” starts up as Super Bacon come out to the cheers of some fans. Others kinda mumble to themselves.

Frenell: And his opponent, from Norwich, England, weighting in at 175 pounds, Super Bacon!!

Hart: Both Super Bacon and Glorious Gaijin are under 200 pounds, meaning this one’s more than likely gonna steals the show.

TJ: You may be right.

DING-DING!

Bacon and Gaijin circle each other in the center of the ring before they lock up. Gaijin applies a side headlock but Bacon shoves him into the ropes and follows up with a clothesline. Bacon bounces off the ropes but Gaijin counters with a monkey flip. Bacon gets to his feet almost immediately and counters a charging Gaijin with a judo throw. Both men quickly get back to their feet as if they were in a stalemate. Fans begin to get behind both men.

TJ: We’re just getting started with our opening bout and both men aren’t letting the other get an inch.

Hart: These two gentlemen are still fairly new to the WWX and hope to make a name for themselves here.

TJ: Ladies and gentlemen, we are less than 6 days away from Outrage, live from the Superdome in New Orleans. Of course, myself and Mike Hart will be there. Also, Gary Lane will be joining us on the announce table as the three of us will be calling all the action for Outrage.

Hart: Cover here by Gaijin!

1, 2, kickout!!

TJ: These two are putting on cruiserweight clinic for us tonight.

Hart: Who knows? These two might even start up a cruiserweight division in the WWX. You never know.

TJ: You’re right. You never know what will go down in the WWX.

Hart: Uh-oh. Gaijin tosses Bacon to the outside. This could get ugly quickly.

As Bacon tries to recover, Gaijin jumps over the top rope with a cross body.

TJ: Gaijin hits a cross body over the top rope on Super Bacon.

Hart: Crusierweights are really fun to watch.

TJ: Yes they are Mike. They are like the heart and soul of the WWX. The backbone if you will. Some cruiserweights have even went on to become World Champions.

Hart: I’m not sure if we have had any cruiserweights who became World Champions.

TJ: Really? We’ll have to look into that Mike.

Back in the ring, Bacon lights Gaijin up with various kicks and punches.

TJ: Super Bacon really laying into Gaijin with those kicks and punches right there.

Hart: Super Bacon resorting to his martial arts prowess as a former MMA fighter.

As Bacon continues to push Gaijin into a corner, Bacon goes for a kick but Gaijin sidesteps the move and counters with a DDT. Bacon is slow to get to his feet as Gaijin bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Bacon moves out the way and counters with a Superkick.

TJ: Wow!

Hart: What a superkick by Super Bacon!

Bacon goes for the cover.
1, 2, KICKOUT!!

TJ: And a nearfall for Super Bacon right there.

Hart: Don’t forget folks, tickets for Outrage are going on sale tonight right after Ravage is off the air so get your tickets today!

As the commentators continue, in the ring, Super Bacon looks like he’s ready to end the match but with the last surge of strength, Gaijin counters with the California Roll.

TJ: There’s the California Roll by Gaijin.

1, 2, 3!!

DING-DING!!

“Angel of Salvation” starts up again as Gaijin rolls out of the ring, holding his ribs.

Frenell: Here’s your winner, Glourious Gaijin!

TJ: Glorious Gaijin picking up the win here in Birmingham.

Hart: And we have a lot more action on tap tonight.

BACKSTAGE

Cameron Westport walks around with the TV title in hand when Tom Black sneaks up behind him with a steel chair, swinging for the fences. Westport drops to the ground almost immediately as Tom Black waves for a ref to count the pinfall.

1, 2, kickout!

Black throws Westport into the wall and follows up with the Black Hole and another pinfall attempt.

1, 2, 3!!

Black immediately springs to his feet, grabbing the TV title in the process and making a run for it as Westport recovers.

TJ: We’ll be right back as the action continues!!

Sgt. Dixie Clements stands in the ring, demanding fans show her respect, which earns her another round of boos.

TJ: Ladies and gentlemen, we’re back on Ravage and we got Sgt. Clements in the ring getting ready to take on Hex Girl, who’s been on quite the roll lately. Will she be able to keep that momentum going against Clements.

Hart: It’ll be a tall order for Clements to try and stop the Wiccan Wonder.

“American Witch” starts off as Hex Girl begins to make her way out on the entrance ramp.

Frenell: The following contest is set for one fall. On her way to the ring, from Busthead, Virginia, “The Wiccan Wonder” Hex Girl!!

TJ: Hex Girl looks determined to put on a clinic here tonight.

Hart: Indeed. You literally feel the intensity coming from Hex Girl right now.

DING-DING!

As Dixie approaches, Hex Girl just stands there. Once in range, Hex Girl explodes with a roundhouse kick to the jaw, causing Clements to stumble back.

TJ: Whoa! What a shot!

Hart: A roundhouse heard ‘round the world right there.

Clearly feeling embarrassed and disrespected, Clements charges at Hex Girl with a spear but Hex Girl sidesteps the attempt, causing Clements to hit the ring post, shoulder first, hard.

TJ: Clements was going for a spear but Hex Girl moved out the way and that shoulder is gonna be hurting for a few days.

Hart: Might be a week the way Clements hit that corner post.

TJ: I agree Mike.

Before Clements can move, Hex Girl runs up her back to the top rope. As Clements backs away from the corner and looks up, Hex Girl leaps off the top rope, connecting with a hurricanrana.

TJ: Nice hurricanrana by the Wiccan Wonder right there.

Hart: I get the feeling that Hex Girl is literally toying with her as if she is enjoying just dominating over Clements.

TJ: It’s either that or Clements had no idea what game plan Hex Girl had going into this match. Needless to say, Hex Girl come fully prepared and is using just about every trick in the book.

Hart: You’re right about that Terry.

Hex Girl goes for the cover.

1, 2, HEX GIRL STOPS THE COUNT!!

TJ: Apparently. Hex Girl is not yet happy.

Hex Girl allows Clements to get to her feet. Though not close to a mic, Hex Girl says “Let’s have another go”. Getting the feeling that she’s being mocked by the Wiccan Wonder. In a rage, Clemens attempts to tackle Hex Girl but to no avail.

TJ: I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but looks like Hex Girl is opening a can of whoop-a$$ on Clements here.

Hart: That she is Terry.

She unleashes a series of kicks that pushes Clements back. She then whips Clements into the rope and follows up with the Purifier on the rebound with authority.

Terry: Wow. The Purifier.

Hart: With authority.

1, 2, 3!

DING-DING!

“American Witch” starts back as Hex Girl calls for a mic.

HG: I told you this was gonna be a southern ass whoopin, and Texas ended up with the mudhole. Now if you're a sore loser; you're welcome to request a rematch but if ya do I recommend we make it fun and bring our toys. Until then then I suggest you remember something, your authority stops at those ropes. In this ring I am the law. Fiat voluntas mea.

She slaps the mic down on Sgt. Clemets chest. As she turns to leave the ring, “Just Another Victim” starts up as Beatrice comes out on the entrance ramp. Fans come unglued as the Graceful Assassin stares down the Wiccan Wonder. She nods in approval and then disappears into the back once again.

TJ: That was Beatrice. The 3-time WWX Women’s Champion. What was that all about?

Hart: I don’t know but the action is heating up. We’ll be right back!!

PARKING LOT AREA

Tom Black limps gingerly out to the parking lot with the Television title in tow and a referee following close behind. As he exits the arena, he hears some suspicious rumbling noises. He nervously surveys the arena as he runs cautiously towards his vehicle. Suddenly, there is a rumble from a nearby parking stall. Black turns just in time to see a large dumpster bin barreling towards him. He jumps out of the way just in time as the dumpster crashes into an SUV. As Fill gets to his feet, he is met with a vicious clothesline by Fill. Fill grabs Black to his feet and sends a hard, right hand into his face, sending him down to a knee. Black sends a shot into Fill’s gut and tries to rally back with a flurry of his own. But Fill sends another shot to the temple of Black and hits a Stressout powerbomb on Black. Fill goes for the cover.

1, 2, 3

WHAM!!

As Fill gets back up he is met with a vicious chair shot to the back by Cameron Westport. Fill drops to the ground clutching his back as Westport grabs him and hurls him into the windshield of a nearby sedan. He then picks up Tom Black off the ground and tosses him into the nearby dumpster. He walks back toward Fill and grabs him by the neck. Fill quickly breaks the hold and slams Westport’s face into the hood of the car. Fill kicks Westport in the gut and sets him up for a Stressout powerbomb on the hood of the car but Westport manages to block the attempt and reverse it, sending Fill head over heels, crashing onto the hood of the car. Westport shakes his head groggily and climbs onto the top of the car. Once on top, he grabs Fill up and hoists him onto his shoulders. Westport takes one final breath and then hits the W, sending Fill face-first through the windshield. Westport drags Fill to the ground and covers him.

1, 2, 3

Westport slowly gets to his feet. The referee hands him the belt as he groggily, staggers backwards, lifting the title over his heads. He hunches over exasperated, clutching the belt to his chest. Just then a screech of tire echoes across the lot. Westport looks up, but before he has a chance to react, a white Kia Optima slams into his side. Westport rolls up the front of the hood and then tumbles down to the ground with a thud. As Westport lies writhing in pain, the driver door opens and out storms Willie Steen. Steen slide over the hood of the car and snatches Westport up.

Steen: Miss me, [bleep]hole?!

Steen grabs Westport’s head and repeatedly slams it into the side of the car. After slamming his head a fourth time, he grabs Westport’s head, rears back and hurls it through the passenger-side window. Westport slumps down the side of the car to the ground. Steen picks him up and hits the Cali Clash on the concrete below.

1, 2, 3

Steen snatches the title up off the ground hastily makes his way back to the car and enters the driver’s side.

Steen: Keep it cool, b[beep]es.

He slams the door shut and speeds out of the parking lot and into the night.

RINGSIDE

TJ: Wow. Despite being one of the main targets, Willie Steen manages to leave Birmingham with the TV Title in his possession.

Hart: He’s gonna need that momentum going into Outrage because I just got word that Willie Steen will be defending his TV Title against Hex Girl.

TJ: Wow. That’s huge. Hex Girl could very well make history by becoming the first female TV champ if she can knock off Willie Steen.

Hart: That is huge.
TJ: Well, in just a few moments, we’re gonna see who’s gonna face Darkness in the finals at Outrage. Krimzon Blaze is set to take on Kurtis Ray in just a few moments.

“Taking You Down” blasts through the PA system as fans become unglued. Krimzon Blaze comes out in full fanfare, soaking in his moment in the spotlight.

Frenell: The following contest is a Crusade Cup Semi-Final Match set for one fall. Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighting in at 215 pounds, “The Aerial Specialist” Krimzon Blaze!

TJ: Krimzon Blaze returned to the WWX recently, apparently hoping to make one more strong run here. He hopes that his win here tonight will be enough to carry him into the finals against Darkness at Outrage.

Hart: We’ll know for sure in a few moments when Kurtis Ray makes his way out here.

“Hype” starts out as Kurtis Ray comes out to a chorus of boos and jeers.

Frenell: And his opponent, from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, weighting in at 270 pounds, Kurtis Ray!

TJ: Kurtis Ray has involed his rematch clause and will challenge Syndicate for the Undisputed Title at Outrage.

Hart: But if he wins here tonight and then again at Outrage, he might walk away with both the Crusade and World Titles in his possession.

TJ: That could very well happen Mike.

DING-DING!!

Blaze and Kurtis go to lock up but Kurtis lands a vicious right hand, causing Blaze to stumble backwards a bit. Blaze goes for a standing dropkick but Kurtis swats him away. Before Blaze can get up completely, Kurtis is all on him with several kicks to the sternum.

TJ: Our main event match is underway and Kurtis is taking it to Blaze here.

Hart: From my viewpoint Terry, it looks like he just want to hurt Blaze.

TJ: You may be right there Mike.

Kurtis whips Blaze into the corner post hard and follows up with a clothesline. He then drags Blaze out the corner and goes for the cover.

1, 2, kickout!!

TJ: Nearfall there Kurtis Ray.

Hart: Don’t forget folks, Outrage is next week where Kurtis Ray will challenge Syndicate for the Undisputed World Title, Hex Girl challenges Willie Steen for the TV Title and Lipton and McAllister will defend their tag team titles in a Hardcore Gauntlet Match. It is shaping up to be an exciting pay-per-view event.

TJ: I agree. We got another cover by Kurtis Ray!

1, 2, kickout!

TJ: And another nearfall for Kurtis right there.

Hart: Kurtis knows that there’s now a chance he could walk away with both the Crusade and Undisputed titles at Outrage if he can win this match and then win both the Crusade Cup finals and the match against Syndicate which is no easy feat in its on right.

As the commentators continue to converse, Kurtis whips Blaze into the ropes but Blaze counters with a spinning heel kick to take the big man off his feet. As Kurtis goes to stand, Blaze hits him with a clothesline.

TJ: Krimzon Blaze trying to mount some kind of offense here in this match.

Hart: Blaze took a good bit of damage earlier on in this match.

As Blaze whips Kurtis into the ropes, Kurtis responds with a thunderous clothesline.

TJ: What a shot by Kurtis Ray here.

Hart: Yeah. He nearly took Blaze out his boots with that clothesline.

Kurtis then goes to town, raining down stomps and vicious elbow drops. Kurtis then goes for another pinfall attempt.

1, 2, KICKOUT!

TJ: Nearfall for Kurtis Ray right there.

Hart: Blaze having some trouble in getting any major form of offense going against Kurtis Ray here.

TJ: Kurtis looks like he is basically teeing off on Blaze.

Kurtis hits a hard DDT. As Blaze tries to recover, Kurtis begins to mock Blaze, telling him to get up. He then turns to the crowd, taunting them and earning him more boos in the process.

TJ: Kurtis taunting both Blaze and our fans.

Hart: He’s wasting time here. He’s giving Blaze time to recover here.

TJ: Yes he is. If he wants to beat Blaze here tonight, he needs to stay on him and no waste any time.
As Kurtis moves in, Blaze surprises him with a school boy roll up.

1, 2, kickout!!

TJ: Now it is Blaze with the nearfall.

As Blaze slowly tries to get to his feet, Kurtis hits a few elbow to the back, causing Blaze to crumple to the mat. Kurtis begins to taunt Blaze again.

TJ: And just like that, Kurtis is back in control.

Hart: Kurtis is wasting time here.

Kurtis gingerly lifts Blaze to his feet and whips him into the corner. He mocks Blaze saying “this is too easy” just out of range of a mic. He then charges at Blaze but Blaze steps out of the way, causing Kurtis to hit the corner post, shoulder first.

TJ: And that could be the opening that Krimzon Blaze needed.

Hart: It could very well be Terry. It is gut check time for both of these competitors.

TJ: A chance to go on to face Darkness at Outrage for the Crusade Cup Championship is on the line in this semi-final match here.

Kurtis goes for a clothesline but Blaze responds with one of his own. And then another one. Kurtis is eventually driven back to the corner.

TJ: Krimzon Blaze gaining momentum here.

Hart: Looks like Kurtis might be in trouble here as Krimzon Blaze seems to be in full control now.

Kurtis goes for a clothesline but Blaze ducks and counters with the Fires Over Del Ray.

TJ: Fires Over Del Ray!

Hart: This could be it!

1, 2, KICKOUT!!

TJ: Kurtis Ray barely kicking out after the Fires Over Del Ray right there by Blaze.

As Blaze tries to confirm that it was indeed a 2 count from the ref, Kurtis sneaks up behind Blaze and hits a low blow just out of view of the ref. As Blaze holds onto his groin, Kurtis whips Blaze into the ropes, followed by the Death Ray. Kurtis then goes for the cover.

1, 2, 3!!

DING-DING!

Fans rain down boos on Kurtis as “Hype” starts back up.

TJ: Kurtis steals a win here tonight and will go onto face Darkness in the Crusade Cup finals and later on in the evening challenge Syndicate for the Undisputed World title, a championship title that he says belongs to him.

Hart: It’s going to be an explosive pay-per-view down near the French Quarter in New Orleans.

TJ: For Mike Hart, I’m Terry “TJ” Jackson, so long from Birmingham!!
