Hart: Great reversal by Jarvis there.

Lane: Better reaction by Willie to grab the ropes there and stop Jarvis in his tracks.

*Jarvis sees Willie grab the ropes and charges quickly but Willie ducks grabbing the top rope in the process. Jarvis goes flying over and hits the floor hard. Willie drops to one knee and takes a quick breather. The ref slides out of the ring to check on Jarvis and then slide back in to start the ten count.

Hart: What a hell of a match so far lane! Great way to open Aftershock!

*With Jarvis on the outside of the ring Willie bounces off the ropes and runs towards the side Jarvis is stunned standing. Willie leaps!*

Lane: Oh my God!! Willie just took out Jarvis with a flying clothesline to the outside of the ring. Both men are down!

Hart: Jarvis just broke his back hitting that!

*You can see Alex saying some words of encouragement to Jarvis to help him out. Suddenly Willie comes running at Jarvis then jumps to to do a cross body block but Jarvis moves out of the way quick.*

Hart: What the hell was that?!?!?

*Alex takes his replica belt and puts it in front of his face to shield Willie’s momentum over the barricade. Willies head bounces off the belt as he goes crashing to the ground.*

Lane: That’s not fair! Jarvis should be disqualified !!

Hart: I don’t think that was a plan Lane. Alex is just a fan in the wrong place at the wrong time.

*Jarvis looks on stunned to what just happened. The ref walks over to Bonn and explains what is happening.*

Bonn: The referee has disqualified Jarvis Valentine for outside interference. As a result the winner of the match and still WWX Television champion, Willie Steeen.

*Jarvis can't believe and goes over and pleads his case. The senior referee makes his way down to the ring and begins talking with the other referee. They talk for a minute and the referee walks back over to Bonn and tells her something.*

Bonn: Upon further discussion the referee has decided to restart this match.

*The ref calls for the bell. Jarvis quickly makes his way over to Willie and picks him up and roles him into the ring. Jarvis follows Willie and roles in himself. Jarvis picks up Willie but Willie takes a swing at Jarvis. Jarvis leans back.*

Hart: He misses! Kick to the gut by Jarvis!

Lane: He’s up!

Jarvis has Willie high above his head ready to slam Willie down with a Power Bomb. Willie reverse and nails Jarvis with a Franken-Steener ad hooks the leg for the pin.

*Ding Ding Ding*

Bonn: Your winner and still WWX Television champion, Willlie Steeeeeeeen.

Hart: What a match Lane! Jarvis just come up short on his quest for the Television championship!!!

Lane: But he didn't Hart. Willie Steen retains the championship tonight. Maybe Jarvis will have better luck in his Crusade Cup match later tonight.

Hart: Great way to kick off the Aftershock though!!!

BONN: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL...This is Semi-Final match in the Crusade Cup Tournament!

The arena goes pitch black, and What Went Down by Foals starts playing. As the song picks up, pyros explode on both sides of the stage [PPV only]. The arena lights up, and Jake Devine stands in the middle of the stage, with his back turned to the camera and his arms open. He turns around and punches the air, triggering more explosions as he starts to walk down the ramp, with a spotlight following him.

Bonn: And introducing first, weighing in at 241 pounds….JAKE DEVINE!

Jake makes his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope. He climbs the top rope and opens his arms, with his eyes closed, as flares light up above the ring. Jake jumps down, removes his jacket, and crouches with his back to the turnbuckle.

Red and white strobe lights begin to flash just before "My House" starts to play over the PA System. A few moments pass before Pyro erupts on either side of the curtain before Jarvis walks through the entrance.

Bonn: And introducing his opponent, weighing in at 243 pounds…JARVIS VALENTINE!

Jarvis hops side to side before putting his arms in an X formation above his head before taking of running down to the ring, Hr slides in the ring and pops up instantly.

Jarvis puts is arm above his head again before making an X above his head again. He turns and walks backwards the corner as the camera seiches away from him to the crowd.

The bells rings as immediately Jarvis and Jake lock up, but Jake sweeps around Jarvis with an attempted suplex, but Jarvis reverses it into an early pin.

Hart: Devine looks to end this right now!

..the ref counts!

Lane: That was almost it, Mike!
Jake kicks out, getting up and instant enziguri from Jake, stunning Jarvis as he gets back up to his feet, he doubles down with a flying clothesline, sending Jarvis to the mat, he hits for the ropes, bouncing back as Jarvis gets back up on his own, but is brought back down with a dropkick.

Hart: Jarvis reeling here! Jake has been in charge from the get-go!

Jake waits a moment before lifting Jarvis up to his feet, lifting him up and back down with “Into The Spotlight” Bomb...he covers!

Bonn: Your winner and advancing into the finals of the Crusade Cup...JAKE DEVINE!

"What Went Down" picks back up as Jake Devine rises. The Referee raises his hand to acknowledge to the crowd the official winner. Jake rolls out of the ring.

Hart: Big win by Jake! But now he must prepare to meet either Kurtis Ray or Syndicate in the Crusade Cup Finals.

Lane: A tall task for any competitor, but anything is possible from here on out! Congratulations! Your winner, Jake Devine!

3rd Match - WWX International Championship - Hardcore Match

Bonn – Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall and will be a Hardcore Match with the WWX International Championship on the line.

(The crowd gives a nice pop.)

Bonn – Introducing first, the challenger…

(“Her Black Wings” by Danzig hits on the PA and Hex Girl steps out in a black leather bikini top and black latex boy shorts. She is barefoot and her body smeared with black and blood red body paint. The crowd jumps to their feet and give her a warm reception.)

Bonn – Standing 5’6” tall, weighing in at 115 pounds, and hailing from Busthead, Va. Here is…. Hex Girl!!!!!!!!!

(She shows off on stage for a second before sprinting down the ramp and leaping over the ropes. Hitting the mat, she rolls and pops up ready to fight.)

Bonn – And her opponent…
(Lights dim to black. Blue and white lights begin to flash as “Guerilla Radio” hits the PA system. Fire works fly from the ceiling to the entrance way and explode as "The Beast" powers through.)

Bonn – He stands 6’5” and weighs in at 320 pounds. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, here is your current WWX International Champion…. Bob “The Beast” Mellon!!!!!!!!

(The crowd gives him a standing ovation as he marches down to the ring giving high fives to the fans on both side. House lights to half when he arrives to the ring. The Beast enters the ring wearing Royal Blue trunks with white jagged lines with block letters on the rear reading "The Beast". The Beast rips of his shirt and the crowd cheers. As the lights come up and the music dies down, Mellon runs from rope to rope warming up.)

Hart – Bob Mellon getting a nice ovation from this crowd after announcing that this match will be his last here in the WWX.
Lane – It was a very sudden move. He mentioned spending time with his family and the damage that this profession does to your body and health and you can’t really blame him. A very accomplished wrester who just felt that the time was right.

Hart – But before he hangs it up, he has a very hungry competitor standing across the ring from him in Hex Girl and the bell has rung and we are underway.

(Mellon quickly locks up with Hex Girl and drives her into the corner. He delivers a couple right hands, then ax handles her down to the mat. He pulls her up and whips her into the opposite corner. Mellon flexes for the crowd before walking across the ring towards his opponent. Hex Girl pops up and delivers a dropkick to Mellon, who takes a couple steps back. Hex Girl is up fast and hits him with another dropkick. Mellon retreats again and Hex Girl hits him with another and he falls back into the corner. Hex Girl comes in for the splash, but The Beast moves out of the way.)

Hart - Bob Mellon showing off a little quickness, especially impressive for a man his size.

(The two competitors circle each other for a bit and then The Beast goes in to lock up. Hex backs up and hits a dropkick to the legs, dropping Mellon to one knee. He gets up quickly and tries again, with the same result. This time, he’s met with a series of right hands from Hex as he gets to his feet. Bob backs into the corner with Hex Girl hot on his trail with an avalanche. She comes out of the corner with a spinning DDT. She stays on for the cover.)

1… and Mellon kicks out.

Lane - I'm not sure why Hex thought that was enough.

Hart - I agree. It will take more than that for Mellon to give that belt up.
(Bob uses the ropes to get to his feet and is met with a dropkick to the temple, sending him through the ropes and onto the concrete floor below. Hex climbs to the top rope, but The Beast gets up fairly quick and Hex Girl rethinks her strategy for a beat before she climbs down and backs into the middle of the ring. Mellon slides under the bottom rope and gets to his feet. He meets Hex in the ring and locks up. He whips her to the ropes and misses a clothesline as Hex bounces off and hits the opposite ropes and comes off with a high cross body, but he is caught in mid-air by Mellon. He lifts Hex Girl over his shoulder and starts a running power slam, but she slips off the back of his shoulder and pushes him into the corner. Hex comes in for another avalanche, but The Beast slips out of the way and drives her into the corner.)

Hart - Hex Girl is in trouble here. She's been doing a good job of sticking and moving, but The Beast finally has her where he wants her.

Lane - He's just smothering her into the corner.
(Mellon crushes Hex into the corner for a bit, using his size and power to wear down his smaller opponent. He uses some head locks and a couple fists and elbows to help his cause. He then places Hex on the top rope, climbs to the 2nd rope and hits a German super-plex. Mellon gets up and sets in an elevated Boston crab. He leans back, but doesn't have the hold set in very tight and Hex Girl starts to wiggle a bit before finally escaping and rolling out of the ring to the outside floor. She hunches over on the steel railing a bit to catch her breath and Mellon slides under the ropes onto the floor as well. Hex Girl sees The Beast and starts to walk around the ring away from him. He follows her and starts to give chase. Hex slides under the ropes back into the ring, but The Beast uses that huge wingspan to reach out and grab the right ankle of Hex Girl, who delivers a big kick with her left foot, which just seems to anger the big man. Mellon still has a hold of that right ankle and swings Hex out of the ring by it and flings her into the steel barricade.)

Hart - Mellon with a huge display of power, just tossing Hex Girl into the steel rails which separate the crowd from ringside.

Lane - I think he is remembering that this is a Hardcore Match.
(Mellon pulls Hex up and hits a running bulldog onto the concrete floor. He pulls her up again and whips her under the ropes and into the ring. Again, he poses to the crowd as they give him a little pop. Mellon grabs a chair from the outside of the ring and takes it with him as he slides under the ropes and back into the ring. Hex Girl is struggling to get to her feet when she gets a jab to the knee with the chair from Mellon and drops back down to the canvas. Mellon pulls her out into the center of the ring and lays the chair on top of Hex. He hits the ropes and rebounds with a huge splash onto the chair that sits atop of his fallen opponent. He stays on for the cover.)

1.... 2..... and Hex kicks out.

(The crowd goes wild. Mellon rolls off Hex Girl, trying to keep it all together. Both Hex Girl and Bob Mellon roll to the ropes on opposite sides of the ring, using them to climb up. Hex Girl is noticably slower than Mellon, who stumbles over to her and grabs her for a Piledriver.)

Lane - This could be it!
(Hex Girl manages to slip out. She scrambles for the chair, but Mellon hits her from behind with a clothesline before she can reach it. She immediately gets up, grabs the chair, and storms at Mellon. Mellon ducks out of the way, causing Hex Girl to bounce off the ropes only to run straight into a Beast-breaker, landing her on top of the chair.)

Hart - Beast-breaker on top of the steel chair! This is it!

(Mellon goes for the cover.)

(The bell rings.)

Bonn - Here is your winner and STILL WWX International Champion… Bob "The Beast" Mellon!

*commercial break*

Bonn - This match is scheduled for one fall and is a semi final match for the WWX Crusade Cup! Introducing first...

(All of the lights in the arena go down to nothing. There is no music and various lights can be seen around the arena, but the ramp is completely dark. lights come up on the ramp enough to light up smoke that begins billowing across the stage and down the ramp and shadowy figures can bee seen emerging onto the stage as "Hype" by Dizzee Rascal Feat. Calvin Harris starts to play.)

Bonn - Standing 6'7" tall and weighing in at 270 pounds, he hails from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico... here is... Kurtis Ray!!!!!!

(As the rap proceeds the darkened figures line up along the ramp revealing there is a great crowd of them, and a dias gradually raises on the ramp with a figure in a black robe facing toward the back of the ramp. When the song reaches the first chorus at the end of every line black lights under the ramp come on, illuminating a cluster of people in club attire wearing masks that obscure their faces with #faithful printed on them, until the end of the verse when two spotlights at the top of the ramp come on and the black-robed figure casts off the robe to reveal Kurtis Ray. He leaps off the dias into the crowd of the faithful and crowdsurfs down to the ring to a decent pop. The crowd drops him off at Ringside, and he climbs into the ring, dashing to each corner to pose on the turnbuckle for the crowd.)

Bonn - And his opponent...

Static fills the Oracle Arena before fading into "Bulls on Parade"!

Hart: And here's the man with arguably the most to lose tonight, ready for his Crusade Cup semi-final match!

(The music quiets down as the arena's lights go out and "SYNDICATE" appears on the jumbotron in bright white letters. A singular spotlight shines down on the stage, and Syndicate steps out of the shadows into it. Wearing his red leather jacket, black denim jeans, and black Nikes, he stands in the light with his head facing the floor, completely focused in on the task at hand.

Zach de la Rocha's trademark scream resonates through Oracle as Syndicate performs a crucifix pose in the spotlight! Soon after, the lights in the arena come back to life.

Hart: The California faithful are on their feet for the Outlaw!

Bonn: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing 224 pounds, he is one half of the WWX World Tag Team Champions...the Los Angeles Outlaw, SYYYYYYNDICATEEEEE!!!

Lane: Mike, Los Angeles is nearly 375 miles south of here. Don't you try to tell me that this is once again a great showing of Syndicate's "hometown" fans. He's not even from this half of the country!
Hart: But they've clearly embraced his "Outlaw" attitude, even now as he strides into battle to face the "Hype Train" himself, Kurtis Ray!

(As they speak, Syndicate runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, and once inside, he gets right in Kurtis's face and performs a crucifix pose along with a display of his trademark grin.

Lane: Remember, Mike, Syndicate doesn't have Darkness by his side tonight. If he wants to beat Kurtis Ray, he's going to have to do it all by himself.
Hart: Yeah, but Syndicate isn't a slouch in the ring by any metric. He's a five-time World Champion, for god's sake! If there's any man that can take Kurtis down, it's him.

(Syndicate takes off his leather jacket and sets it aside as the bell rings!)

(Ray and Syndicate face off against one another, shouting things back and forth. Syndicate holds out his hand to Ray who stares at it for a moment before reaching out to grab the former champion's hand. He yanks Syndicate forward, attempting an early Trainwreck that the Outlaw ducks. Kurtis maintains his grip on Syndicate's wrist, pulling him back and into position for a Sidewalk Slam. Kurtis goes for a quick pin.)

HART: Ray going for an early pin!

1..... Kickout!

LANE: That's not enough to put Syndicate away yet.
(Kurtis gets back up to his feet and Syndicate rolls on his side, trying to regain his composure. Kurtis doesn't press the attack right away, taunting instead to earn a pop from the crowd and then going to pull Syndicate for his feet. Syndicate counters with a jawbreaker followed by a rope-assisted knee lariat. Syndicate is quick to push the advantage, hauling Kurtis up to his feet and whipping him into the ropes, following up with a quick suplex. Syndicate goes for a pin of his own, but Kurtis kicks out before the ref can even get into position.)

LANE: Kurtis Ray gets a taste of his own medicine.

(Syndicate is first up to his feet and leans down to pick up Kurtis, who rolls the former champion up.)

1......... 2....... Kickout!
HART: A near fall from the Hype Train!

LANE: Looked like a slow count to me.

(Syndicate scrambles to his feet and makes some distance between himself and Kurtis, who gets back to his feet as well. Kurtis lunges at Syndicate, who catches him in a headlock position. Syndicate attempts to use the headlock to gain an advantage, but before he can exert any real force. Kurtis steps into the move and turns it into a modified Olympic Slam.)

HART: That was a great move from Kurtis Ray.

LANE: You'd think Syndicate would know better than to give him openings.

(Kurtis lucks his harms around one of Syndcate's arms and one leg, linking his hands together and bridging for a pin.)

1...... 2..... 2.5 Kickout!
LANE: Close but no cigar!

(Kurtis breaks away from Syndicate, looking frustrated. He shakes his head, getting to his feet. He raises one arm, pulling it down to pump his arm.)

(Kurtis looks delighted, turning around just in time to catch the Original Syn directly in the temple. He drops to one knee but powers through, roaring as he tries to get back to his feet, but Syndicate follows up with the No Signal! Syndicate covers!)

1..... 2...... 2.9 KICKOUT!!

(Syndicate looks bewildered, holding up three fingers, but the ref shakes it off, saying there was no three count. Kurtis crawls over to the ropes, using the turnbuckle to pull himself to his feet. The two men lock up again and Kurtis shoves Syndicate into the turnbuckle hard, following him in with a running dropkick. Kurtis grins, holding up one finger and drawing a circle before taking a lap around the ring and running in to deliver another running dropkick, then a third. He circles around for a fourth time, but Syndicate powers through, catching him mid jump and slamming Kurtis to the mat with a powerbomb.)
HART: Kurtis pushed that a little too far.

LANE: That won't be enough to put away the Hype Train!

(Syndicate grins, playing to the crowd and making a show of mocking Kurtis. He makes to haul Kurtis back to his feet, but Kurtis drops to one knee, clipping Syndicate with a European Uppercut. He follows up by hooking up an arm triangle lock and slamming Syndicate down to the mat. He transitions into the Last Chancery.)

LANE: We've never seen this from Ray before!

HART: Kurtis Ray has a huge arsenal of moves to deal with almost any opponent you can think of, but I don't think we expected to see this!
(The referee checks on Syndicate to see if he will tap and he declines. He tries to force his way out of the move, but Kurtis refuses to give up anything. Syndicate starts to fade, but before the referee can call the match, Syndicate rallies and manages to get a foot on the ropes. Kurtis doesn't release the move immediately, letting the ref get to a four count before breaking, but it looks like the damage is done. Kurtis is quick to get to his feet, but Syndicate seems to be having some trouble catching his breath.)

LANE: Syndicate missing a step after the bridging triangle choke from Ray.

HART: That's a brutal move, Gary. Kurtis Ray may have damaged Syndicate's throat.
(Kurtis doesn't miss a beat, skipping up to his feet and hauling Syndicate up to his feet. Syndicate still looks to be struggling, and Kurtis signals for the Death Ray, whipping Syndicate into the ropes. Syndicate counters with another Original Syn to the Hype Train. Kurtis drops to his knee, apparently out on his feet, and Syndicate bounds off the ropes for a second Original Syn. Kurtis still manages to stay on his feet, shaking his head and struggling to stand.)

LANE: If this was anything other than the human monstrosity that is Kurtis Ray I would be surprised that he's still on his feet, but common sense doesn't apply to this man.

HART: You're absolutely right, Gary. The durability of this man defies explanation.

(Syndicate sets up for the No Signal, but Kurtis counters with a straight punch to the damaged throat. He shoves Syndicate into the roped, following up with the Death Ray!)

(Kurtis is slow to get back to his feet now, but he slaps at his face, shaking off the multiple knee strikes. He raises his arm again and roars to the heavens, pumping his arm and enticing a pop from the crowd. He pulls Syndicate up from the mat, whipping the outlaw into the ropes again and preparing for another Death Ray. Syndicate slips past him, preparing for another Original Syn that Kurtis ducks.)

Lane - Both men on the mat here after that furious exchange, trying to make their way to their feet in opposite corners of the ring.

Hart - These guys really laying it all on the line here tonight.
(Syndicate and Kurtis make it to their feet at about the same time and stagger towards the middle of the ring. They circle each other before locking up. Kurtis pushes Syndicate against the ropes and whips him across the ring, trying to set up a back body drop, but Syndicate has it scouted, kicking the Hype Train square in the face. Kurtis recoils, and Syndicate pounces, hitting a Lou Thesz press followed by a sequence of brutal punches to the jaw. Eventually, Kurtis rolls Syndicate over and begins punching him in the face in retaliation! After a bit of struggle, Syndicate pushes Kurtis off of him and pulls himself to his feet, only to be met with a monstrous lariat, sending him flying over the top rope and to the outside! Recognizing the need to move quickly, Kurtis runs the ropes and jumps, hitting Syndicate with a suicide dive, clearly dazing the former five-time World champ!)
Hart - What a move by the big guy!

(Giving himself a moment to catch his breath, Kurtis pulls Syndicate up by his hair and tries to whip Syndicate into the ring post, but Syndicate reverses, resulting in Kurtis being sent straight into the steel! He falls to one knee against the apron, and Syndicate takes advantage by violently slamming Kurtis's forehead into the post once more, this time sending Kurtis onto his back. As Kurtis feels the pain of a possible concussion, Syndicate rolls the Hype Train into the ring and climbs up on the apron. A dizzy Kurtis Ray gets to his feet, but as he does, Syndicate jumps to the top rope and hits a springboard neckbreaker!)

Hart: VINTAGE Syndicate! We haven't seen that move in years!

Lane: Clearly, Syndicate's realizing he needs more than his standard move set to beat Kurtis Ray, especially when Darkness is nowhere to be found!
(Syndicate goes for the pin.)

1... 2... and a kickout

(Not skipping a beat, Syndicate gets right back to his feet and brings Kurtis along with him, looking for a Catalyst DDT to further injure the head. However, after the patented gut kick to set up for the move, Kurtis Ray manages to hit a perfect Northern Lights suplex to Syndicate! Kurtis bridges for the pin.)

1... 2... and Syndicate kicks out.

(Syndicate gets to his feet and backs himself into a corner to recover, and noticing this, Kurtis charges to hit a dropkick, sending Syndicate to the mat! Kurtis pulls Syndicate into the center of the ring, glances back at the turnbuckle, and climbs it to the top rope. As the crowd buzzes, Kurtis jumps, hitting Vaya Con Kurtis! However, just as he tries to go for the pin and possibly the win, Syndicate instinctively rolls to the outside to avoid defeat. Kurtis climbs out of the ring in pursuit and grabs a recovering Syndicate before shoving him back into the ring, cutting his escape attempt short. Ray slides in and grabs Syndicate from behind, looking to swing him around and hit the Trainwreck, but as he pulls Syndicate back in, Syndicate collapses in pain and exhaustion, somehow managing to avoid the swing of Kurtis's arm. Kurtis, annoyed by this but also somewhat amused, pulls Syndicate back up and tries again. This time, however, Syndicate manages to get his knee up for a quick Original Syn, sending Kurtis into the ropes. On the rebound, Syndicate hits another Original Syn, causing both men to fall to the ground. By this point, Kurtis is bleeding from the forehead due to a combination of the pole strikes from earlier and the two Original Syns.)
Hart: Syndicate and Kurtis are clearly unable to get to their feet...the ref begins the count!

Syndicate is seen staggering to his feet, buckling back to the ground from the pain.

Kurtis is seen pulling himself up using the steel steps as Syndicate tries again, the crowd going crazy!

Syndicate pulls himself into the ring, the crowd going wild as Tanno can be seen jumping over the barricade!

Hart: What in the hell is he?
Tanno immediately takes to Syndicate as the referee tells to back away

Lane: Tanno was banned from ringside for Jake Devine's match...but never was he banned from Syndicate's!
Tanno immediately looks at Kurtis Ray, all while pulling on Syndicate's injured knee

Tanno: (off-mic) you see this Kurtis!

Tanno lifts Syndicate up by the knee, slamming it against the mat, causing Syndicate to scream in pain and roll across the ground as Kurtis looks on in shock. The ref literally having no choice but to ring the bell
*Kurtis struggles to reach out in rage towards Tanno, who merely sneers at Kurtis as he collapses back to the ground *

Bonn: This due to Tanno's a DISQUALIFICATION! Therefore, the winner of this match...IS SYNDICATE!
Hart: This is downright terrible! Tanno basically not only hindered Kurtis in his rubber match against Syndicate, but injured Syndicate

Lane: Clearly there is an agenda brewing here.

The camera pans to additional referees coming down to separate Tanno from both Kurtis and Syndicate as he hops over the barricade, clearly content.

The lights go out in the arena as "Whispers in the Dark" by Skillet begins to play over the loudspeakers.
Hart: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a good ol' fashioned grudge match! Korath's had a huge problem with the current World Tag Team Champions as of late, and it's all coming to a head as he faces off against Darkness tonight!
Suddenly, lightning strikes the stage, and as it does, a spotlight shines down where the bolt struck to reveal the figures of Darkness and his tag team partner, Syndicate...along with someone else not far behind.
Hart: Wait, what the -
The mysterious figure standing behind the champions immediately charges at Darkness, knocking him down to the ground with a steel chair shot from behind!
Lane: What the hell is going on?!?!?!?
The camera zooms in on the perpetrator to reveal him to be none other than Korath himself!
Syndicate attempts to attack Korath to avenge his partner, but he too is met with a chair shot to the head! Korath then takes the chair and violently slams it into the right knee of Syndicate!
Hart: Gary, that's the knee that Syndicate had surgically repaired just over a year ago!
He continues to work on the back of Syndicate's knee with the chair, causing the Outlaw to writhe in pain on the ramp. Finally, after a number of shots, Korath drops the chair and turns his attention back to Darkness, dragging him into the ring to allow for the match to finally begin.
Hart: This match is about to begin, but it sure looks like Syndicate's been taken out of the equation entirely.
Lane: I'd sure say so. That's what he gets for meddling in Korath's business!
As the ref waits for Darkness to stand in the ring, two men from the WWX's training staff rush out from behind the curtain to check on the Outlaw. Syndicate is clutching his right knee as he is brought to his feet by the men before slowly and painfully limping to the back with their help.
Hart: As questions about Syndicate's health loom, we turn our attention to what should be a fantastic match here between Darkness and Korath!
Words are exchanged between Darkness and Korath as they approach each other in the ring. Korath thumps his chest a few times as the words appear to become more heated. The two get closer as they continue to argue back and forth until they are nose to nose. There is a pause in the exchange and the pair stands there in a tense moment having a stare down. In a quick motion Korath kisses Darkness on the nose taking his opponent completely off guard and leaving him looking in stunned confusion for a second. Korath backs up a step and gives Darkness the finger before closing his fist and knocking him across the jaw. Darkness goes stumbling and turns his back on Korath.
Korath goes for a one-handed bulldog. Darkness tries to duck out of it when he feels Korath grab his head but he is too off balance from the sucker punch and he goes down his face slamming into the mat.
Korath turns Darkness over and goes for the pin. The ref only gets a one count before Darkness kicks out.
Darkness quickly gets to his feet. The two start trading blows in rapid succession after a few moments, however they trade speed for power winding up before each punch and each staggering back afterwards. Korath ends the exchange by grabbing Darkness and putting him back on the mat with a scoop slam. Korath puts a foot on Darkness’s chest raising his arms to showboat for the crowd for a moment. Darkness takes the opportunity to strike upwards hitting Korath in a low blow that wasn’t seen by the ref. Korath grabs his jewels and stumbles off leaving Darkness free to get up.
While Korath is busy holding his boys Darkness gets up and hits him with Darkness Falls. He rolls Korath over and goes for the pin.
Korath kicks out.
Both men get up and look like they are going to square off again, when Korath charges across the ring with his arm raised for the Heavy Lariat. He connects and Darkness is sent flying back slamming against the turnbuckle. He steps back allowing Darkness to fall face first onto the mat.
Syndicate appears back on the stage. He starts limping towards the ring with a steel chair in hand. Korath abandons Darkness for a moment and rolls out of the ring. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a logging chain and heads up the ramp to intercept Syndicate.
Syndicate raises the chair and tries to swing it at Korath but misses as Korath just ducks the swing. He reciprocates by headbutting Syndicate causing him to fall to the ramp. He then smacks Syndicate’s injured knee a few times with the chain before hogtying him with it. He then makes a gesture like he’s telling a puppy to sit and stay before turning to go back to the ring.
While Korath is occupied with Syndicate, Darkness rolled out of the ring and retrieved a bat he had stored under the ring and attempted to sneak up on Korath.
The ref starts the count for them to get back into the ring.
Korath turns around to find himself face to face with Darkness hold a bat and grinning like a total nut. He takes a swing and Korath ducks it.
Darkness swings again this time Korath catches the end of the bat in his hand. The entire front row gives a wince at the sound of the impact into his hand.
His grip visibly tightens on the end of the bat and Darkness pulls on it in an attempt free it engaging in a tug of war with the Nordic Nightmare.
Neither man wants to relinquish their grip on the bat as they tug, push, pull and shove each other back towards the ring.
They reach ringside still struggling for control of the bat.
Korath grabs his end of the bat with both hands and whips Darkness towards the ringpost. The bat connects with the ringpost making it literally ring but shattering the bat in the process leaving both men holding scraps of wood.
Darkness backs up a couple of steps before reaching over the security barrier, grabbing a fan’s drink and throwing it in Korath’s face as the big ginger menace keeps advancing.
Seeing Korath is undeterred by the sudden cup of beer to the noggin. Darkness turns on his heel and runs around to the other side.
Darkness slides in under the bottom rope on one side of the ring as Korath climbs in on the other side. The ref stops the count.

Darkness rushes across the ring and goes for a Superman punch. He connects sending a spray of liquid flying from Korath’s beard and the big man stumbling back. He starts chopping Korath across the chest pushing him back into the ropes. The fans start counting out the hits after the third one.

Crowd: 4...5...6...7...8...9...10

Korath’s chest is turning an angry red that nearly matches his hair. The ref steps in and breaks them apart allowing Korath to catch his breath.

Korath lets out a bellow and charges Darkness with his arm outstretched for another Heavy Lariat. The ref doesn’t move in time and both the ref and Darkness slam into the corner. The ref becoming the unfortunate middle of a manwich. Korath pulls away from the corner and the ref falls to the mat temporarily knocked out. Darkness staggers out of the corner.

Korath allows Darkness to get clear of the ref before picks him up for a Gorilla press slam. He lets out a howl and thumps his very red chest as he moves over to grab Darkness by the hair. He lifts Darkness’s head and connects with a headbutt. Korath let’s go and allows him to stumble around for a moment while he stretches his arms out for the fans to cheer.

The crowd gives a huge pop wanting to see more.

He take a couple of steps and grabs Darkness once again to deliver another headbutt. He rears back and brings his head forward stopping just short of connecting. He then honks Darkness’s nose and slaps him across the cheek instead. Korath waits a second or so for Darkness to look at him before he starts the hard and fast blows signaling his Brutality finisher. He delivers the first headbutt then the second. Darkness is laying on the mat but the ref still isn’t up.

Korath moves over to the ref to rouse him. This gives Darkness a few moments to recover and recollect his wits that Korath just tried to knock all over the ring.
Darkness is getting to his feet about the same time the ref is getting to his. Korath leave the ref and closes back in on Darkness. Korath goes for a punch which Darkness manages to barely counter with a hip toss. He staggers a bit and falls on top of Korath ‘pinning’ him. The ref counts.

Korath quickly gets to his feet. He gives Darkness a few absolutely savage looking punches before picking him up above his head for what looks to be another press slam. He holds Darkness there for a few seconds letting the tension build before bringing him down in the Savage Hammer.

Ding Ding Ding

Bonn: Here is your winner “The Nordic Nightmare” Korath!!!!

Korath takes the microphone from Kayla Bonn and looks down at Darkness.

Korath: Weak Kukjävel.

He hands the microphone back to Kayla and leaves the ring on his way up the ramp he grabs the chain holding Syndicate hogtied and drags him back to the paramedics he escaped from.

*commercial break*

Backstage, James Ranger is seen stepping out of the Trainer's office, a look of concern as he looks back at Syndicate's trying to stand up. He closes the door as he steps out, taking note of Bob Mellon seen walking out towards the parking lot, he follows yelling for him as the camera zooms out

Tommy and Rex move together towards Xavier and start the ambush assault! Tommy tells Rex to hold Xavier and then Tommy lays boots to the gut of the Champion!
Rex mouths off the fans. Together Tommy and Rex lift Xavier up for a double team suplex!
Hart: So it appears they have reunited if only for a short time!
Lane: Only one can leave as our Champion!

Tommy kicks out. Xavier picks him up and whips him into the ropes taking Tommy down with a huge clothesline. Xavier once again goes for a pin.

Rex comes back into the ring and breaks up the count but quickly slides back out again.

Hart: Well...what's he doing? Get in the ring Rex Master! This is what you've wanted for weeks! Don't run away now!
Lane: Are you kidding me, Mike! Rex is the last person that would run away from a fight! This is really smart strategy! Let the opposition tire themselves out, I LOVE IT!

Xavier doesn't let up on Tommy. Xavier lays a few kicks into the side of Tommy as Tommy tries to get back up. Xavier picks Tommy up and whips him into the ropes once more and tries to go for another clothesline but Tommy dodges and nails Xavier with a neckbreaker. Rex sees this and jumps back into the ring and attack Tommy eventually throwing him out of the ring.

Hart: It's about time Rex gets back into this match.

Lane: Still perfect strategy if you ask me.

Rex begins to land right hands to the head of Xavier. Rex then drags Xavier over to the ropes and drags his face across the top rope. Xavier staggers back to the middle of the ring but is caught by Rex with a neckbreaker. Rex goes for the pin.

Xavier kicks out. Rex without hesitation picks up Xavier and whips him into the ropes catching Xavier with a fall away slam as he comes off the ropes. Rex slides out of the ring and goes for Tommy. Rex grabs Tommy and nails him with a northern lights suplex but Rex doesn't stop there. He hits Tommy with the Northern lights suplex two more times.

Hart: Rex very deliberate with his attack methods here, going back and forth on both Pendragon and Lipton!
Lane: He's got a game plan, Mike! It's working right now!

Rex climbs back into the ring and tries to continue his assault on Xavier but Xavier meets him with a swift kick to the gut. Xavier grabs Rex and slams his head into the mat with a hard DDT. Xavier lifts Rex back up and whips him into the ropes but Rex is grabbed by the leg by Tommy and dragged outside of the ring. Tommy whips Rex in the steel steps sending Rex to the ground clutching his shoulder. Tommy slides back into the ring and goes after Xavier. The two begin to trade blows until Tommy quickly grabs Xavier and nails him with a knee to the gut. Xavier goes down to one knee as Rex manages to make his way back into the ring.

Hart: Xavier is getting to his feet.
Tommy and Rex look at the Champion who's getting back up. Without a hesitation the two deliever a double team clothesline sending Xavier over the ropes and out of the ring!!!!
Hart: Tommys telling Rex to grab Xavier and bring him back into the ring!
Rex rolls Xavier into the ring and Tommy yells to lift Xavier up... Without notice suddenly Tommy grabs Rex and hits the Lipton Slam!!! Tommy covers!!!
Lane: The mastermind at work and it almost pays off!!!
Hart: It's Tommy now who baited Rex McAllister!!!

While all this is going on in the ring Xavier can be seen outside the ring grabbing a bottle from under the ring. Xavier drinks the contents of the bottle and throws the bottle back under the ring. Xavier climbs back into the ring where Tommy has gotten Rex back up to his feet. Both Tommy and Rex turn towards Xavier who now ha produce a lighter. Xavier lights the lighter and blows the contents of his mouth out causing a fire ball to be produce and shoot into the face of Tommy and Rex blinding them.

Hart: What the hell was that?

Lane: Did Xavier just shoot a fire ball out of his mouth.

Hart: What ever it was has Tommy and Rex disorientated at the moment.

Xavier then low blows both Rex and Tommy. Xavier grabs Rex and delivers the Pride of Detroit taking Rex Down. Xavier then grabs Tommy and delivers the Detroit Drive taking Tommy down. Xavier rolls Tommy out of the ring and goes for the pin on Rex.

2 3/4....

Rex barely kicks out. Xavier picks Rex up and sends him back down with a Detroit Drive. Xavier once again goes for the pin.

Tommy slides back into the ring with a steel chair and nails Xavier with it breaking up the pin attempt. Tommy grabs Rex and delivers a Canadian Ice Breaker. Tommy goes for the pin.

The lights in the arena suddenly go out.
Hart: What's going on? The lights just went out!
Lane: Where are you, Mike? Can you see me? It's pitch black in here!
The tron comes to life, and an image appears. The tron shows the image of a dark room with three figures concealed by the shadows, just one dim light appears. One of the figures steps forward, the smallest of the three, but the dark still covers them well. It's a woman with a devious look on her face.
From the tron: We're back.
The lights come back on. Rex perches himself on the top turnbuckle with his Singapore Cane in hand.
Hart: Look out, Tommy!
Rex leaps off and brings the cane down on top of the unsuspecting Lipton which knocks him out.
Lane: Lipton is OUT!
Rex drops the cane, turns and delivers the Rex Effect to Xavier on the steel chair that had been brought into play earlier. Rex drops down and hooks the leg of Pendragon.
Lane: Rex got the distraction he needed!

There is a ruckus from the crowd and the camera pans to show a man in a Rabbit suit who jumps over the barricade and slides into the ring, baseball bat in hand. Rex gets up breaking the pin attempt. The Rabbit slides into the ring and nails Rex with the bat sending Rex to one knee. The Rabbit follows up with a hard shot across Rex's back that puts him in the mat. Tommy moves to intervene, but the rabbit whirls and cracks Tommy in the side of the head and jaw with the bat, following up with it's own stunner.)
LANE: What the hell is happening here? Somebody call security!

The rabbit hauls up Rex now, whipping him into the ropes and nailing a pop-up powerbomb. The Rabbit then grabs Tommy and whips him into the ropes but Tommy reverses it and nails the Rabbit with a vicious clothesline. Tommy goes over and pins Rex.

Hart: It's Blade Rickman!!!
Lane: We haven't seen him since he attacked Tommy at Holiday Hell!
Blade walks down the ramp with a chair in one hand and a Mic in the other.
lade: Do you think it was over?! Do you think I wouldn't forgive you for what you did to me. YOU WERE HOLDING ME BACK!
Rex over there saw something in me that you didn't. I told you Tommy that we need to be the new Tandem and dispose of Rex and any other that got in your way BUT NOOO you had to do the right thing! You said this week it's about how far you will go to succeed and YOU weren't willing to go the distance!
Blade slides into the ring . Blade drops the chair hard over the head of Xavier who had started showing signs of life and Tommy is unaware that behind him Rex and the Rabbit are getting up!
Blade: Rex was willing to do what had to be done, he was willing to pay big to see his way to the top!
Hart. The ref is telling Blade to leave but this is a triple threat and there for there is no disqualification!
Blade: I wanted to have a big impact a HUGE debut!!!
Rex and the Rabbit are up and Blade pulls back on the chair and Tommy Lipton shows fatigue and starts trying to plead. Behind him Rex is smiling!
Blade: I have to choose the man who gave me the opportunity for the biggest debut here in the WWX.... That Man Is... YOU!!!!
Rex looks startled as Tommy ducks and Blade swings the chair hard but Rex manages to grab the Rabbit and pull him on front of him causing the chair to connect with the head of the Rabbit knocking the head of the Rabbit revealing it to be Kurtis Ray. Kurtis Ray goes rolling out the ring from the force of the chair shot. Blade comes at Rex again but Rex jumps into a standing dropkick kicking the chair back into the face of Blade causing Blade to stumble. Rex then nails Blade with the Rex Effect. The ref then proceeds to roll Blade out of the ring. Rex gets back up and turns towards Tommy who is in disbelief of what just happen. Rex charges at Tommy who dodges and nails Rex with a Lipton Slam.

Hart: This is it. We have a new Champion.
Tommy covers

Rex amazingly kicks out. Tommy is visibly frustrated. Tommy picks up Rex and goes for another Lipton Slam but Rex reverses it nailing Tommy with the Rex Effect once again. Rex, visibly exhausted falls down on to Tommy for the pin.

Hart: Rex, has it won here.

Lane: No way Tommy is kicking out.

Out of no where Xavier grabs Rex, picking him up off of Tommy. Xavier then whips Rex over the top rope where he hits the floor hard.
Hart: Xavier saves the match. He still has a chance to retain the Undisputed Championship.

Lane: I thought he was out of it after that chair shot by Blade Rickman.

Hart: All he has to do now is finish off Tommy.
Xavier picks Tommy up and slams him to the ground in the middle of the ring. Xavier then goes to the corner and climbs to the top rope. He waits for Tommy to get up. Tommy slowly gets up, staggering in the process. Xavier leaps off the top rope going for the Gangnam Style. Tommy sees this and jumps catching Xaviers head bringing Xavier down to the mat with a Canadian Ice Breaker.

Hart: Holy Crap!!! How did Tommy pull that off?

Lane: What a move. Xavier never saw it coming.

Tommy rolls over laying one arm over Xavier.

Ding Ding Ding

Hart: What a Hell of a match.

Lane: Tommy manages to make it through all that carnage and escape as the new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

Hart: And What carnage it was. Kurtis Ray apparently was out here to possibly reunite with Xavier and help him win the match.

Lane: Also Blade Rickman tried to pull a fast one on Rex McAllister which backfired. I guess we will have to wait until the next Ravage to see how all this plays out.

*commercial break*

BONN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and will determine... the winner of the 2018 Crusade Cup !

The arena goes pitch black, and What Went Down by Foals starts playing. As the song picks up, pyros explode on both sides of the stage. The arena lights up, and Jake Devine stands in the middle of the stage, with his back turned to the camera and his arms open. He turns around and punches the air, triggering more explosions as he starts to walk down the ramp, with a spotlight following him.

BONN: Introducing first, from New York City, weighing in at 241 pounds... Jake Devine!

LANE: Jake Devine had an incredibly easy semifinal and seems pretty energetic for this match.

Jake makes his way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope. He climbs the top rope and opens his arms, with his eyes closed, as flares light up above the ring. Jake jumps down, removes his jacket, and crouches with his back to the turnbuckle.

[Static, followed by "Bulls on Parade", once again fills the Oracle! Soon after, Syndicate limps onto the stage with a decently-sized black knee brace fitted over his black denim jeans.]

BONN: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 224 pounds... He is one half of the WWX World Tag Team Champions... Syndicate!

HART: One cannot understate how big of a deal this injury is to Syndicate. That right knee is how the Outlaw is able to flip people over for the No Signal. He uses it for everything from Original Syn to simply running across the ring. This match is going to be a painful affair for Syndicate, I'm afraid.
[Syndicate makes his way down the ramp, but instead of sliding into the ring like he normally does, Syndicate instead opts to climb the stairs. Once inside, he comes face-to-face with a defiant Jake Devine, who softly taps the knee brace with his foot in what seems to be a cocky move. In response, Syndicate performs a crucifix pose with a smile on his face.]

LANE: Jake's gotta be loving this! Not only is Syndicate nearly spent from his match earlier tonight, but he's got a bum knee! That brace is almost like a target painted directly onto the Outlaw!

HART: Syndicate's fought through knee injuries before, though, once back in 2014 and again in 2016. Let's see if he can finish the job again here tonight and become #1 Contender for the World title!

[Syndicate adjusts his knee brace and warily makes his way to Devine. They grapple up, but Jake kicks Syndicate's knee, causing Syndicate to fall to the mat.]

LANE: Great strategy there by Jake Devine.

[Devine goes to stomp on Syndicate, who grabs his boot and pushes Devine away. He grabs the ropes and tries to pull himself up, but his knee keeps giving out.]

HART: Syndicate is in absolutely no shape to fight.

LANE: That's the risk of the game. He knew that going in.

HART: I'm not denying that, but this is painful to watch.

[Syndicate gets up and limps over to Devine. Devine tries to sucker punch him, but Syndicate blocks it and punches back. They trade blows, until Devine pushes Syndicate away, only to Irish Whip him into a corner. Jake lifts Syndicate up on the turnbuckle, puts him on his shoulders, and heads to the center of the ring for the Angel Drop.]

HART: It's coming!
[Out of nowhere, Syndicate manages to slide out and roll up Jake Devine.]

LANE: So close, yet so far.

[Jake Devine immediately gets up, picks up a dazed Syndicate, and brings Syndicate Into The Spotlight.]

HART: Into the Spotlight! This could be it!

[Devine drops his knee to Syndicate's injured knee for good measure and makes the cover.]

BONN: Here is your winner of the Crusade Cup 2018... Jake Devine!

[The crowd goes wild over the win as "What Went Down" by Foals plays.]
LANE: I can't believe it! Jake Devine is headed for the World Title!

HART: Syndicate fought more than anyone could've reasonably expected him to with that knee. Jake Devine may have won the Cup, but Syndicate shares the spotlight tonight just for how much heart he showed.

[Jake Devine helps paramedics get into the ring and checks on Syndicate.]

HART: Jake Devine helping Syndicate out, some true sportsmanship on display here. I'm now getting word that the celebration ceremony will take place at the next Ravage, as the ring is currently occupied.
