What Follows The Beast?
*Hex Girl is doing a fan meet and greet for a local 'Comicon' type convention near her hometown. During a lull in the activity the camera approaches. She turns to face the camera and smiles.* I'm betting you boys are wanting to know my thoughts on what happened at Aftershock and what I got coming up on Ravage. *The camera 'nods'.* Reflecting on my performance at Aftershock...I know I could have handled that match better. I had licence to be at the height of viciousness. So what happened? Tunnel vision. That's the only explanation for it. Well you know what they say hindsight is 20/20. Who knows if I'll get another crack at The Beast because he's announced that he's going back into retirement. *Snaps her fingers.* Maybe I should buy him a nice retirement gift?.... Anyway back to the subject at hand. So now I get to go from facing The Beast a man who is double my height and has a 200 lb. weight advantage to facing Tanno. *Holds up a hand.* I don't care if you take offense to this but in comparison you are SO not impressive. I know on Heat you are talking a lot of smack about how much you are going to hurt me. *Starts chuckling.* That's a really good joke tell another one, you might have a career as a comedian ahead of you. You see here is the deal we are getting locked into a steel cage together where we have little incentive to play nice. The tamest thing I'm likely to do is test the effectiveness of the fence links as a cheese grater using your face as a stand in for the block of cheese. I might also test the strength of the padlock using either your head or your body. I'm not saying I'm gonna toss your ass around like a ragdoll. Please, who do I look like Wonder Woman? Nah, but I certainly have enough skills to beat your ass around that ring. Last time I checked we are restricted to 'Steel Cage Rules'. Which aside from not killing each other includes. *Pulls out an official rule book.* "A steel cage match is a match fought within a cage formed by placing sheets of mesh metal around, in, or against the edges of the wrestling ring. The most common way of winning is by simply escaping the cage, either over the top of the cage wall and having both feet touch the arena floor, or by escaping through the cage door with both feet touching the arena floor. The other occasional ways to win a steel cage match are by pinfall, by submission, though these are less common stipulations in the modern era. It is possible to have one wrestler attempting to escape over the top of the cage wall while another tries to escape through the cage door." *She closes the book and looks back at the camera.* Now while the primary goal is escaping the ring which frankly I can do in about 10 seconds if I really have an inkling to be done with the match that early. It leaves a whole hell of a lot of interpretation of what happens between the bell ringing and one of us escaping. You say you want to take my cat ears and give them to Emily as a gift. Well you can try. And while you're trying to take these off my head I'm gonna be making you regret your body's involuntary decision to breathe. I believe I also promised to kick you so hard your balls spontaneously become a vag...so there's that. *Shrugs her shoulders.* From what I hear out of the locker room they're so small you'll barely miss 'em. Though I'm sure you're just going to say that these are *does air quotes* vicious rumors. *She looks over her shoulder as more fans have come up to the table to talk and get autographs.* If y'all excuse me. *She turns back around to speak with the fans as camera pulls back.* [Cut to Hex's logo and fade to WWX logo]
